Read-only by default
Diagnostics, health checks, sweeps, and reports are read-only. They inspect your WordPress site without modifying it. We take care to keep these operations safe and rate-limited.
Write actions are your decision
"Write actions" include — but are not limited to — plugin/theme/core updates, file edits, snippet execution, database changes, cache flushes, and any operation that changes state on your site. Write actions only run when you (or a teammate) explicitly approve them in the UI.
By approving a write action, you accept full responsibility for the outcome. Developer Sentinel, its operators, and its contributors are not responsible or liable for any damage, downtime, data loss, revenue loss, broken plugins/themes, SEO impact, security incidents, or any other consequence resulting from a write action you approved — even if the suggestion was generated by our AI.
AI output is advisory
AI-generated diagnoses, fixes, code snippets, and explanations may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your specific environment. Always review suggestions, test in staging when possible, and keep backups before approving any change.
Backups are your responsibility
Developer Sentinel does not replace a backup solution. Maintain independent, tested backups of your WordPress files and database. We may snapshot small artifacts for rollback convenience, but this is not a backup service.
Third parties
We are not responsible for outages, bugs, or breaking changes in WordPress core, plugins, themes, hosts, CDNs, DNS providers, AI providers, or other third-party services your site depends on.
